The Zain Professional League is the premier league in Saudi Arabia.
In the end of the last Season 2008-09 the league was called Saudi Professional League, but the league name has been renamed to Zain Professional League and the name stands for a mobile telephone provider called Zain which is now become an official sponsor of the premier league.
Al-Ittihad was the last team who won the last season with the old name.
